Heckler & Koch P7 M13 Training Program Weapon

Look at the slide on this one. Just above the Heckler & Koch Oberndorf address, it reads Training Program Weapon. That single line of text is what separates this M13 from the thousands of commercial and service guns that left the same factory. These were pistols HK set aside for its own institutional and instructional use, kept out of normal commercial channels. You don't run across them often.

Underneath the marking sits the standard M13 layout, and that's a good place to be. It's a 9mm squeeze-cocker running the gas-delayed blowback system that built the P7 reputation, fed from a double-stack 13-round magazine. The higher capacity was the entire reason the M13 existed alongside the M8, and HK reworked the frame, the locking geometry, and the firing pin bushing to make room for it. You get the ambidextrous magazine release behind the trigger guard, the polymer heat shield along the slide, and the contoured stippled grip frame that M13 owners know by feel.

The finish is the gray-toned phosphate HK used on later P7 production, paired with deep black controls and a fixed front blade with a notch rear. The frame carries an HK Chantilly VA import mark, with the German proof stamps and M13 designation cut into the right side. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.

It comes with a second magazine finished to match the pistol, the factory box, and the original German P7 M8 / P7 M13 instruction manual. Those pieces back up the training lineage and round out the package. For the P7 collector chasing the marks most people never get to handle, a factory Training Program gun in this configuration is the kind of detail that anchors a collection rather than filling a slot in it.
