With FFL Dealers

When a firearm transfer requires an FFL dealer, we share buyer and seller information with the designated dealer as necessary to complete the transfer, including contact details and relevant transaction information.

With Other Users

Your username, seller rating, and listing history are visible to other users. Buyer usernames are partially masked in bid history to maintain privacy. Your shipping address is shared with sellers only after a completed transaction.

With Service Providers

• Payment processors for transaction handling and fraud detection.
• Identity verification providers to confirm age and identity.
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Email and communications service providers.
• Analytics providers (data shared in aggregated or de-identified form where possible).

With Law Enforcement

GunMister is committed to full cooperation with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. We will disclose user information and transaction records when required by valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or as required under the Gun Control Act and ATF regulations. We may also proactively report suspected illegal activity.

Business Transfers

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services and comply with legal obligations. Specific retention periods include:

• Account information: retained for the life of the account plus 5 years after closure.
• Transaction records: retained for a minimum of 7 years as required for tax and regulatory compliance.
• ATF-required records: retained for the period required by federal regulations (minimum 20 years for bound book records).
• Marketing preferences and communications: retained until you opt out, then purged within 90 days.
• Server logs: retained for 12 months for security and fraud prevention purposes.
