Affiliate Disclosure

An affiliate link is a link to another company's website that carries a tracking code. The code tells the retailer, usually through an affiliate network such as AvantLink, that the visit came from GunMister. If you make a qualifying purchase within the retailer's tracking window, the retailer pays us a share of the sale.

• Listings from partner retailers such as Guns.com. The card and the listing page name the retailer, and the Buy button opens the retailer’s own page, where the sale takes place.
• Product, gear and accessory recommendations, and links to retailers in our collector guides and other articles.
• Any block of retailer products shown alongside listings.
• Every page or block that contains affiliate links says so next to the links, with a link back to this page.

Listings posted by dealers and private sellers on GunMister are not affiliate links. Sellers set their own prices and deal with buyers directly, and GunMister is never a party to those sales.

• Commissions never change the price you pay.
• We do not accept payment to change a seller’s listing, its position in search results, or what our guides say about a maker or model.
• Our guides are written to be useful to collectors whether or not you click a link. When we name a retailer, it is because it carries the item, not because it pays the most.

When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network and the retailer may place cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to record the referral. Those cookies are set by them, under their own privacy policies, not by GunMister. Our Privacy Policy explains this further. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser at any time.
