This is a small-batch Kimber built around the Al-Hillah region of Iraq, the modern city that sits atop the ruins of ancient Babylon, made for personnel tied to that ground. Underneath the story it's a full-size 1911 in .45 ACP, and Kimber built it right. The slide and frame wear a uniform FDE finish with that fine matte texture Kimber's flat dark earth coatings are known for. Cocking serrations run front and rear, the dust cover carries an integral accessory rail, and the barrel hood shows bright stainless where it peeks through the ejection port. The controls are black, a deliberate contrast against the tan.
